  • never been in one but a friend of mine, who i don't really see much anymore because she's completely drug-fucked, is actually a prostitute. some of the stories are fucken horrendous.

btw, i was so going to start a thread like this! i've been reading this book about this chick who was a prostitute and heroin addict in melbourne and it's made me really curious about how many guys actually go to brothels for a root. my friend used to tell me that heaps of 'normal' and even 'good looking' guys go as well as the creeps, but i didn't really believe her.

Would that be Kate Holden - In my Skin?

A friend of mine works in one, and i studied the history of prostitution at uni, but i've never been in one myself.
  • angelar

  • A mate used to work behind the open bar(though if you didnt choose a girl and had more than 2 drinks they either told you to choose or leave) at one, was good to go have 5 or so shots with him at the start of a night. The girls knew we werent there for them, so never really talked to us.
There were regulars there every weekend, some spending 50k over 40 odd hours and others who used to spend 24 odd hours there till their wife called. These guys were business execs/owners and some living off their trust funds/inheritances.

  • There's so much to say. Certainly if alternatives were almost non-existent and somebody required medical treatment denied to me by the government those would have initially pushed them in that direction. I'm reluctant to rule out absolutely the prospect of entry or re-entry to it in any form, but am ageing and you can imagine what that means. I change around what I'm doing from time-to-time and have not been doing one thing for a very long time, but more like different things in life on and off. I have met many workers and also street workers. I regret not having set down that path when I was quite young [cos those who are younger have higher bookings], I wasted too much time fruitlessly pursuing the elusive prospect of a satisfying mainstream career and reconciliation with my control freaks of family who live in considerable affluence and myself often had been in poverty. Sometimes but what keeps someone in there is different from what led them to start up there.

why's it been so hard for you to find a satisfying, 'mainstream' career?

I can't understand most of what you've written here. And I would like to because it seems interesting.

    Its also very vague.

No way, its actually pretty cheap all in all. Hell, SWAP.avi was around 500-600 USD i think.

That was the hottest porn ever. Those brazilian porn production companies and their crazy offers.

alleged Transexual, heroin addict with mental disorders on permanent disability pension. (though I have to admit to the odd thoughts of Freedom being the result of a bored troll)

Family deny money due to lifestyle choices.

Freedom denies getting a job because of the mental torture of dealing with people who don't understand his situation.

In spite of our many personal spits over the past year, I know he's intelligent and occasionally articulate. I just happen to disagree with most of what he says, but I do understand his point of view, even if I usually fail to acknowledge as such.

One things for sure Freedom does liven up otherwise dull forums. I'm glad "he" is here even if it doesn't usually seem that way. (or if I tell him he doesn't exist)

I actually spoke to this guy once at the bar, he was late 30s/early 40s. According to my bartender mate his money was from trust fund/inheritance in the order of 50-100 million, had no social skills in regards to women, and rather than have a gold digger etc... he just paid upfront for it. This was in an 'upper class gentlemans club' where he got multiple women, he used to be there all weekend, for almost every weekend.

Other stories of early 20s guys pulling out of their pockets $10000 of $100 notes, were reasonbly frequent as well, some of the stories are very dodgy, and they used to get raided by the tax office/police every now and then.

  • On topic

Yes. I went in to a brothel to ask the owner if they had a good rate on their home loans and if any of the girls wanted a low doc loan.

Apparently the workers "didnt have the deposit" (or in English were probably illegals), but I did a couple of nice loans for the madame
